Modifying the Ribbon in Excel 2007

I have recently found a need to modify the Ribbon interface in Excel 2007. I thought it would be much harder than it actually is. Rather than going through a tutorial of my own, I thought that I would post some excellent Ribbon modification tools and tutorials.

Before doing this, you need to understand that Office 2007 files are really just archives (.zip files) of several XML files. So, if you want to explore the file you can just change the file extension to .zip and then extract the files from the archive. Windows Explorer can do this.
